The park opened on Earth Day 1998, as the largest Disney park in the world by area. The entrance plaza is shaded by tropical trees.

The Oasis
Winding garden paths with waterfalls and small animals, meant to slow you down before the park opens out. It hides the Tree of Life until the bridge.
